Meet Our Team

Dr. Cantor is a board-certified, evidence-based chiropractor with multiple treatment locations in South Florida. He is a graduate of Life University with advanced studies at Palmer College West. After receiving the highest grade in the State of FL on his board exams, Dr. Cantor went into private practice in Boca Raton, FL. There he has become the go-to chiropractor for the most difficult cases.  He has advanced certification in Spinal Decompression Therapy and is pursuing advanced certification in chiropractic neurology. He is proficient in most chiropractic techniques and has successfully managed thousands of cases over 19+ years.

Dr. Vincentiu Popa received his medical education at the prestigious University of Medicine Carol Davila in Bucharest. Upon graduation, he started his residency and internships at the University of Arkansas. Rotations included emergency medicine, internal medicine, plastic surgery, and more. He finished his time in Arkansas at the University of Arkansas’s Children’s Hospital as an Anesthesiology resident (CA-1 and CA-2). He completed his residency (CA-2 and CA-3) at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation. It is home to one of the best anesthesiology programs in the United States. There, Dr. Popa also trained in unique cases of neurosurgery, vascular, renal, OB-GYN, pediatrics, and laparoscopic procedures.

After graduation, Dr. Popa gained experience and expertise having worked in a variety of hospitals and medical centers. Dr. Popa has been in private practice since 2003 and in 2011 opened his own private practice. He currently serves his patients in both New Jersey and Florida. In his free time, Dr. Popa enjoys planning trips and making memories with his family.

Jeffrey C. Fernyhough, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon. He has expertise in a variety of approaches to the treatment of debilitating spinal conditions. An accomplished researcher, Dr. Fernyhough has published in the areas of cervical spine fusions, lumbar spine fusions, and bone graft pain. He lectures nationally in minimally invasive surgical techniques and holds patents for vertebroplasty techniques and instruments for spinal fractures.

Dr. Fernyhough earned his medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. During medical school, Dr. Fernyhough was an International College of Surgeons Scholar at the University of Oxford School of Medicine in Oxford, England.

He served as an instructor and chief resident during his residency. That was in the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation of the Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Fernyhough continued his studies with two spinal surgery fellowships. One was at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. The other was under Henry LaRocca, MD, founding editor of Spine Journal.

Dr. Herrera is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon, specializing in shoulder and knee injuries. His patient care philosophy centers on communication and approachability. He believes that patients come first and that clinical problem-solving begins with careful listening, observation, and examination. Ultimately, the goal is to return patients and athletes to the highest levels of activity, through specialized treatments or surgery.
After graduating from medical school at the Central University of Venezuela, Dr. Herrera continued to pursue his medical training in the United States. He completed a 2-year Clinical Research Fellowship in the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Minnesota. He also completed a 5-year Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He then completed 1 year of subspecialty training in Sports Medicine Surgery at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego, California. He focused on complex knee and shoulder injuries, minimally invasive surgeries, and arthroscopic procedures.
Dr. Herrera is new to south Florida but began working in private practice in New Jersey in 2013. He was named New Jersey’s 2018 “Top Orthopedic Doctor of the Year” by the Garden State Law Enforcement Officers Association. He has also been selected as a 2019, 2020 and 2021 “Top Doctor” in orthopedic surgery by NJ Top Docs.

David Soria MD received his medical degree from the Ohio State University. He subsequently received his residency training in trauma and emergency medicine at the Cleveland Clinic foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. In his 25+ years of practicing acute care emergency medicine and trauma, he saw countless numbers of traumatic injuries. During his career he provided care to thousands of patients with head injuries. Most of those were incurred secondary to motor vehicle accidents.
He also was the Medical Director of global games for the National Basketball Association (NBA). There he cared for the players and tended to all of their injuries during international games.
He has seen the evolution of head trauma diagnosis. Early on only a thorough neurological exam was available. Then came head CT and MRI. Now much more advanced technologies allow us to specifically diagnose TBI with the best sensitivities in history.
Dr. Soria has expertise in emergency medicine, head and trauma care. He now has specific training in the use of the Eyebox for determining early or very subtle TBI. He brings us the most cutting edge expertise and diagnostic tools. This helps our patients get the best care and recover the fastest.

Dr. Wassermann received his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 1991. He then did further coursework at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. At the same time he worked part-time as an Orthopedic Technician at Lighthouse Orthopedic Group. Dr. Wassermann then attended the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. As part of Dr. Wassermann’s clinical training, he rotated through Edgewater Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. While working at Edgewater, Dr. Wassermann did morning patient rounds with the hospital’s medical interns and observed orthopedic surgical procedures. Duties also included treating patients in the hospital’s geriatric outpatient clinic. Dr. Wassermann received his doctorate in chiropractic from the National College of Chiropractic in 1998.

Lina Barbaros has a Master’s in Aesthetics. She is a Licensed Electrologist, Certified Clinical Electrologist, as well as a Certified Medical Electrologist. She is licensed in the State of Florida and Utah. Lina is a certified medical assistant and is certified in all of our unique body sculpting and weight loss treatments. Lina strives to give her clients the best experience and personal attention with all of the procedures she performs. Her background, training, and experience allow her to provide her clients with a service that is truly unique and precise.
