Documented Imaging Results in TriMed DRX9000 Patients
Beyond how patients say they feel, we also track what their imaging shows. The before-and-after x-rays below belong to actual TriMed Spine & Joint patients who completed a DRX9000 spinal decompression protocol at our Boca Raton office. Disc height was measured on each film using standard radiographic measurement software.
| Spinal level | Disc height before | Disc height after | Change | Time on protocol |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cervical C6-C7 | 3.4 mm | 4.3 mm | +0.9 mm | 7 months |
| Cervical C7-T1 | 3.5 mm | 4.4 mm | +0.9 mm | 3 months |
| Lumbar L5-S1 | 11.9 mm | 13.9 mm | +2.0 mm | 2 months |
| Lumbar L4-L5 | 9.7 mm | 11.2 mm | +1.5 mm | 2.5 months |
| Lumbar L5-S1 (same patient) | 11.2 mm | 12.7 mm | +1.5 mm | 2.5 months |
Cervical spine cases

Lumbar spine cases

Actual TriMed Spine & Joint patients. Individual results may vary. Imaging findings are specific to the patients shown and are not a promise of a similar result. In a published retrospective cohort study of lumbar spine patients, non-surgical spinal decompression was associated with increased disc height (Apfel CC, Cakmakkaya OS, Martin W, et al. BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders. 2010;11:155).
Is DRX9000 spinal decompression right for you?
The DRX9000 is FDA-cleared for the treatment of herniated discs, bulging or protruding discs, degenerative disc disease and posterior facet syndrome. Whether you are a candidate depends on your imaging, your history and your exam findings. Steven Cantor DC reviews each case individually before recommending a protocol.

More Questions Patients Ask
Are these real TriMed Spine & Joint patients?
Yes. The comments on this page come from people treated at TriMed Spine and Joint, and the DRX9000 accounts come from patients who completed a decompression protocol at our Boca Raton office.
Will I get the same results?
Not necessarily. Individual results vary, and they depend on your diagnosis, how long the problem has been present, your imaging findings, your general health and how consistently you follow the plan. A testimonial describes one person’s outcome; it is not a prediction and it is not a guarantee. The honest answer to whether decompression will help you comes from an examination, not from someone else’s story.
Where can I read independent reviews?
Our Google reviews are public and are not curated by us, so they are a useful cross-check against anything published on our own site. You will find them by searching for TriMed Spine and Joint along with the office nearest you.
Where is DRX9000 treatment performed?
The DRX9000 table is located at our Boca Raton office at 307 Via De Palmas, which is the only TriMed Spine and Joint location where decompression sessions are performed. Patients who begin care at our Lauderhill, Hollywood or Delray Beach offices are scheduled in Boca Raton for those sessions.
How do I find out whether decompression is right for me?
Call 1 (855) 4-TRIMED and ask for a spinal decompression evaluation. We review your history, examine you and look at your imaging, and if the DRX9000 is not a good fit for your findings we will tell you that and explain what we would recommend instead.
